AI Policy Explorer for Faculty

This tool is designed to help you draft a course-level AI-policy specific to your needs. Reflect on the course learning objectives, assessments, and/or learning activities of the course to determine the kinds of learning that are most important for your students to achieve. Clicking the checkboxes next to the prohibited and acceptable uses causes the page to assemble a list of your selections at the bottom of the page. Use the "copy to clipboard" button to copy the resulting AI policy language into your own document and make any edits you wish to make to that document.

Prohibited GenAI Uses

Check any uses that should not be permitted in your course.

    Allowed Uses to Support Learning

Check any use profiles you want to permit in your course. Each includes the guardrail needed to protect academic integrity.
